I find Audrey Hepburn to be an amazing and extremely inspiring woman. Not only was she a beauty and a world famous actress, but she was also a humanitarian and a lovely human being in general. I would love to go back in time and meet her. Ms Hepburn proved that classic beauty is more powerful than faux beauty, because although she was beautiful on the outside, she was also extremely beautiful on the inside. She was an intelligent and giving woman and us women should all take inspiration from her. Audrey Hepburn once said:
for beautiful lips, speak words of kindness. for lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. for a slim fingure, share your food with the hungry. for beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. for poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
people, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. as you are growing old, you will to discover that you have two hands,
one for helping yourself and another for helping others.
That quote has been one of my favorites for a long time, because the words ring true. You have the power to make your life anything you want it to be (Ms Hepburn even said: “Nothing is ‘impossible’, the word itself says ‘i’m possible’!”). She shows that through success, one should not shy away from the world at large. Humans need to help their fellow human (and animal), because it is only through love and compassion that humanity can survive. So, take note from Ms Hepburn, go out into the world and do something wonderful and beautiful.
